In her position as CEO, Oliva provides strategic and visionary leadership, guiding the company toward achieving its long-term goals and vision. She is dedicated to continuous learning and self-development, which allows her to lead with professionalism and inspire her team to reach shared objectives.

Clement Mlay
Clement Mlay serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Bahari Remedies, leading operational strategies that prioritize efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth. With a strong academic background in ecology, biodiversity, and biostatistics, Clement combines scientific expertise with operational acumen to drive the company’s success. His proven experience in optimizing workflows, managing resources, and fostering cross-functional collaboration ensures the seamless execution of Bahari Remedies’ mission to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions.

Thomas Nsanzugwanko
Thomas Nestory Nsanzugwanko is a dedicated marine scientist, conservationist, open water diver, and Program Coordinator at Bahari Remedies. His journey with the organization has seen him transition through pivotal roles, beginning as a Project and Research Officer and now serving as the Program Coordinator. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries from the University of Dar es Salaam, Thomas has built a strong foundation in marine science and conservation. In his current role as Program Coordinator, Thomas leads projects focused on biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, innovation, and sustainable resource use. He brings expertise in community development, youth advocacy, and cross-sector collaboration, driving impactful projects, securing grants, and advancing blue economy initiatives. Skilled in project management, stakeholder engagement, and ecosystem restoration, he integrates science, policy, and community-driven solutions to promote global environmental sustainability.

Peace Wilson Simon
Peace Wilson Simon is an aquatic scientist dedicated to conserving marine and freshwater ecosystems. She holds a Bachelor’s in Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Master’s in Marine and Lacustrine Sciences and Management from VUB, Ghent University, and the University of Antwerp, specializing in Conservation Biology and Ecosystem Management.
With extensive field and research experience, Peace focuses on sustainable resource use, climate change impacts, and adaptation strategies. She actively promotes conservation advocacy, collaborates with communities, and empowers local groups to engage in sustainable practices that enhance aquatic ecosystem resilience.
